Et lorsque l'on est missionnaire on est vraiment impatients pour ce jour ! :D

Je vois que la petite famille est "attaquée" par la maladie :/

Il est dans mes prières et vendredi prochain lorsque je serais au temple,

je m'asurerais d'y mettre son nom :) 

La prière d'un enfant est toujours puissante...Père Céleste veille sur lui :)

Parce qu'il y a 19 heures 30 de décalage entre Tahiti et l'Australie, ce n'est pas le lundi mais le

dimanche que la TribU reçoit les mails tant attendus d'Elder Chin Ah You;

Très tôt le dimanche matin, Maman rédige des messages électroniques à son Grand Garçon ainsi

qu'aux Sisters Arhan, Bertholon et Naehu;

Ensuite, elle laisse la page d'accueil de "Yahoo mail" ouverte pour ne pas rater l'occasion d'être

connectée en même temps que Grand Garçon;

Et c'est souvent entre 13 heures et 16 heures que Papa et (surtout) Maman ont la bénédiction

d'échanger des messages avec lui...

et depuis que la paroisse commence le culte à Midi c'est donc à l'heure de l'école du dimanche ou

de la Société de Secours que Grand Garçon écrit;

Papa qui souvent travaille le dimanche est donc à la maison à cette heure là;

Lorsque Grand Garçon écrit son premier message qui souvent commence par "Hello :)"

Papa envoie un SMS à Maman qui de suite quitte la chapelle avec les plus jeunes pour rejoindre

la maison qui n'est qu'à quelques minutes du lieu de culte;

Et pendant un peu plus d'une demi-heure, le temps s'arrête...Elle savoure ce moment avec son plus Grand..

Certains parfois reprochent que les missionnaires ne puissent communiquer avec leurs familles qu'une fois par

 semaine et pour un temps limité cependant, les règles missionnaires sont faîtes de cette manière et permettent

ainsi aux jeunes missionnaires comme aux parents d'apprécier ces moments qui n'ont pas de prix.

C'est pourquoi Maman met toujours un poing d'honneur à être présente au moment où il est connecté parce

que de l'autre coté de l'océan, son Garçon attend toute une semaine l'occasion "d'être avec sa Famille";

Alors peu importe à Maman si elle rate quelques réunions dominicales...

pourvu qu'elle soit présente lorsque son Fils a besoin d'elle !

Et c'est une Réalité...Maman attend ces Mails du Dimanche avec impatience !

Thank you so much for the news from your side ! I can see that there
is a lot of change in the little island !
Here in DC everything is ok ! Tomorrow it will be snowing again !
That's disappointed, but it's ok ! The spring is coming, at least that
what they all say ! xD

Anyway ! Yes of course Heavenly Father answer our prayer ! He will
always ! And I'm so happy for the experience that Teora had to live :)
That's so great ! :)

I'm from Moorea (French Polynesia). 

I studied Pacific environment at the University of French Polynesia.

I love sports, especially basketball and hiking.

I love to do crazy things and go over my limits.

My parents (who are the best) raised me like that, and I'm so grateful for that. 

I love listening to music and spending time with my family and friends.

I'm a dynamic person, I love when the day is full of new experiences, but sometimes I enjoy

Why I am Mormon

I'm a convert to the Church !

I received the missionary's lessons in 2006.

I was baptized 2 months after my first lesson with the missionaries.

  I'm a Mormon because I found out for myself that this Church is true.

I saw the difference in my life after my baptism !

I was missing something in my life and I didn't know what it was until I received

the missionaries and found out that it was a relationship with God. 

There is no words to describe how much the gospel blesses my life and brings me happiness :)

Personal Stories

How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life ?

The Plan of Salvation has a big place in my life !

In the past I was a teacher at the church for the youth !

It was such a great experience : being with the youth and learning together about Jesus Christ :) 

I was music leader for my ward and responsible of the young single adult woman in my ward ! 

The things that I love the most with these callings is that I can always take care of people and help them !

I love to help people, in anyway that I can. 

I'm currently serving as missionary in the Washington DC North mission, where I can share the gospel and help people.

Washington DC is not really ready to let the winter goes ! xD

It was snowing yesterday but anyway, I'm doing good and the missionary work is great :D

I don't have a lot of time but thank you so much for your email :)

And yep, I heard about those missionaries who passed away...That's hard and sad !

But God's will and plan isn't our and sometimes we don't understand...

But sometimes we don't need to understand, just follow !

And as a missionary that's what we do with the Spirit;

Sometimes we don't understand why we are prompting to go there, but when you get there and

you meet people who are willing to learn, you're just so grateful that you followed the Spirit :)

Here is snowing... again !

I was thinking that the spring is coming but I was wrong

It's snowing again and it's cold  but I'm doing pretty well :D

Missionary work is doing good !

I always have a great experience with my investigators or with the spirit;

Is just so amazing !

I love my mission, I love missionary work and  I love my investigators so much;

They are just so awesome !! :D

Bad things, we eat too much...That's insane !

But it's ok, exercises will help...I hope so ! Haha !

But it's so cold that at 6:30am you don't think about exercises but more about stay

in your warm blanket...Haha !

But, anyway :D

And guess what ? Elder CAY' send me pictures... but not of him ! Lol !

He sends me pictures of spider...Well, I guess is better than nothing...Haha

Anyway...He's the best ! Hihi.

Il fait très chaud mais tout va bien...

J'ai des amis russes et je peux donc améliorer mon russe !

Mon secteur est sympa et mon compagnon qui vient d'Arizona est vraiment super;

Nos journées se déroulent en "ING"...

Teaching...Contacting...Eating...ant then routine ! : )

And all the experiences I had lately can be summarized in one quote....

1. Avec ma compagne Sr Croese, Sr Fordham membre au petit soin des missionnaires et à qui nous

avons rendu service  et les elders Zollinger et Cervantes notre dirigeant de zone !

2. Devant le temple de Washington-dc...le printemps pointe son nez !!!

3. Des oeillets mauves offerts par la Présidence de mission à la réunion de zone à l'occasion

des transferts!! Pas de transfert pour moi...pas encore!!!

Quelle semaine géniale remplie de grandes bénédictions...

Le Seigneur a préparé des personnes pour venir à notre rencontre;

Une photo de ma Campagne et Moi...J'ai effectivement pris du poids... hhahaha

Depuis deux semaines, Elder Chin Ah You n'écrit pas grand chose...

Papa et Maman ont cependant appris que son Compagnon et lui n'étaient plus à vélo mais en voiture !

....Une bénédiction pour ménager son genou...

Et Maman a également reçu un petit mot de Katalina A. à qui Elder Chin Ah You a envoyé une réponse

au mail qu'elle lui avait écrit...

" he was really hurt 2 know she had passed like i explained 2 him she was very choosy who she became

closest 2 & that he was one of her bestest friends always kept close 2 her heart.

"James" never degraded her but thru most of her time in the hospital he always made her lsugh

when times most times she was always in agony but never let him know that she didn't want him

2 worry about her when she knew his mission was very important 2 him.

He was her best true most loyal friend she was happy 2 have know.

Again thank yu 4 rekaying my message 2 james so very much appreciated. "

Et Maman comprend que parfois...

" La Parole est d'Argent mais le Silence est d'Or !"

Le 21 janvier, une Amie FB de Grand Garçon laissait un commentaire assez explicite sur la page

FB de ce dernier...Elle avait envie qu'il l'appelle et qu'ils se voient parce qu'elle aussi 

se trouvait en Australie;

Maman a de suite commenté en disant que pour l'heure ce n'était pas possible...

Les Règles missionnaires sont qu'il ne peut contacter la famille par téléphone que pour la fête

 des Mères et Noël...mais uniquement la famille proche !

De plus il lui est interdit de rencontrer les amis et la famille à moins que son Président de Mission

ne donne son accord;

L'Amie en question a alors conversé avec Maman en "Message personnel" sur FB...

" I was so inlove with james but he chose the church over me i understood cause alot of my

family are mormons im not though"

Et Maman s'est souvenue que plusieurs mois avant qu'il ne décide de constituer son dossier missionnaire,

Grand Garçon lui avait parlé d'une certaine D. une néo-zélandaise qui allait émigrer en Australie

et Maman s'est rappelé du jour où celle-ci l'avait appelé par téléphone pour la première fois et du 

"Ouh la laaaaa" de stupeur que Grand Garçon avait lâché...SouRires !

Et ce 21 janvier, c'est une Maman aussi surprise que ne l'était Grand Garçon lorsqu'il recevait ce coup

de fil inatendu, qui répondait à cette Amie dont elle ne connaissait rien;

Un moment presque surréaliste...

L'Amie et Grand Garçon ne s'étaient jamais vu en vrai mais aujourd'hui Elle avait dans l'idée de...

" think i'll pay james a visit kellyvilles not far from me who knows what might happen"

.....James Hellsing étant le pseudo FB de Grand Garçon....

Bien évidemment, Maman a de suite ajouté que son projet n'était pas raisonnable mais en guise de réponse,

elle a été coupée de la "conversation";

Maman a consulté la page FB de l'Amie et s'est sentie mal à l'aise devant les clichés souvent (trop) sexy

de la non moins très jolie jeune-femme et a décidé de prendre contact avec l'amie Doudou

qui vit en Australie;

Elle même a joint Grand Garçon pour lui faire part de la situation...

Et Grand Garçon a répondu que ce n'était que des détails et qu'il ne fallait pas s'en faire.

Le lendemain, l'Amie a de nouveau laissé un message sur la page FB de Grand Garçon pour

exprimer son ras-le-bol de tous ces Interdits et son envie d' envoyer valser toutes ces Règles !

Maman lui a alors gentiment prié de retirer ses messages par respect pour Grand Garçon;

Elle ne l'a pas fait et Maman a dû se résoudre à demander à l'amie qui gère le compte FB de Grand

Garçon de la retirer de sa liste d'amis.

Papa et Maman ont même pensé qu'elle devait être " folle à lier " !

Le lundi, dans son e.mail, Grand Garçon leur demandait de ne plus l'enquiquiner avec cette histoire

parce qu'elle l'avait affecté mais lorsque Maman lui a montré les messages déposés sur sa page FB,

il a juste ajouté qu'elle était devenu folle !

Et après ce petit incident plus de nouvelles...Avait-elle compris ? S'était-elle résignée ?

Mais le mercredi 12 février, soit 3 semaines plus tard, Maman recevait un autre message FB d'une

certaine Katalina A.

" please let james know my sister Dee passed away 28 jan from brain cancer we took her

home 2 nz she mentioned yu thanks"

" he was a very good friend 2 her thank yu please tell james thanks from our family 4

being so good 2 her thank yu"

" all Dees time was spent in my sisters nursing home for terminally ill cancer patients

she went n2 a coma died a few days later"

Recevoir ce message a beaucoup peiné Maman qui s'est rendue compte de la manière dont elle

avait parlé de l'Amie...Qui ne voulait finalement qu'avoir une occasion de voir en vrai celui

qui lui avait été d'un grand soutien !

Maman aurait-elle réagi différemment si elle avait su plus tôt dans quelle situation se trouvait

l'Amie ?

Sans aucun doute !

Jamais Maman ne s'était doutée du rôle que Grand Garçon avait pu jouer dans la vie de son Amie

dont il savait qu'elle était atteinte d'une tumeur au cerveau...

Elle reconnaît qu'il a toujours fait preuve de Bonté mais jamais elle n'aurait imaginé qu'il

eut été un tel Ami...

Sous ses airs de Macho, Grand Garçon a toujours été d'une très grande sensibilité et a toujours

rendu service;

Bien évidemment, et même si Papa a estimé qu'il ne fallait lui annoncer la nouvelle qu'à la fin de sa

Mission, Maman a tenu à partager à son Grand Garçon le triste message;

Et sa réponse a été...

....well I don't know what to say....

Et Maman a rappelé...

" Dieu est Grand et il connaît chacun de ses enfants...

La mort n'est qu'une porte pour entrer de l'autre coté du voile !

Tu es un Serviteur du Seigneur et tu devras souvent faire des sacrifices pour

permettre aux enfants de notre Père Céleste de se rapprocher de lui...

Ne t'en veux pas, tu as fait ce qu'il fallait...Tu a été son Ami !"

Ce à quoi il a répondu...

Maman ressent de la tristesse et regrette tout ce qu'elle a pu penser de cette Amie qui est entrée dans la Vie

de Grand Garçon comme dans la sienne en coup de vent;

Dépouillée de sa chrysalide et revêtue de son manteau de lumière, ce joli papillon s'en est allé rejoindre

la lumière d'un battement d'ailes.

" Vole vole petite aile

Lâche tes heures épuisées

Vole tu l'as pas volé

Deviens souffle, sois colombe

Pour t'envoler..."

The missionary work is doing good and the work at the Visitors Center too !

I'm doing good...The weather still cold here;

Yesterday it was snowing and it was just beautiful because on Sunday afternoon

I work at the Visitors Center so, I saw the Temple under the snow !

It was so cute !

Today I went to the city...It was just so cold.

I wasn't able to feel my legs anymore, even if I had tight !

That is so crazy...But anyway !

So the DC city is so pretty and The buildings have such a beautiful architecture;

So amazing !

Missionary work side :D

Everything is going well !

I have such amazing investigators :D

Yesterday we taught Joe and Chris...They are so awesome;

Chris accept the invitation to be baptized and We hope that he will commit it !

Because this is the people here in DC...

They accept to be baptize but it never happen and I really want to change it !

We have a lot of people in our area book who were just in 1 week of their baptism and

they just dropped the missionaries...Why ?

Because they don't want to be saved ! Haha...Just kidding :D

I'm sure it's because they have some confers who were not resolve !

Who we gonna work on it and commit them to the baptism :)

I'm so happy to be on a mission...Just an awesome experience !

De mon coté, tout va bien.. Il a fait bien chaud cette semaine !!!!

Le seigneur me béni énormément et me protège;

Une chose que j'ai appris cette semaine c'est que même en mission,

 Satan et ses anges rodent...

Ils continuent de nous tenter...c est une réalité !
